L’OREAL LOOKBOOK

“L’Oreal are stylish, they are arrogant, they are French. You must make sure this is the basis of their Lookbook.” These are the instructions we received from the publisher – they needed an odd-sized book with thick, high-gloss pages.

Action

Our recommendations for this project had to follow specific guidelines, although we were given liberty in using our expertise to create something special. 400gsm silk art board, printed on our high-quality litho presses with an overall gloss lamination, gave the images clarity and definition. This also lent the whole book a rigidity well above standard publications.

Wiro binding (using a silver wire) finished the lookbook nicely and complemented its stylish yet simplistic design. It also doubled up as a practical way for end users to turn pages freely.

Final delivery involved 14 countries across Europe and the rest of the world, as well as liaison with representatives in each country to distribute the books within the time frame.
