ADIDAS SCENTED ZINE

Project of the Month Winner

JUNE 2018

Our latest award-winning project is for our client TCO London, a multi-channel media and branded content agency based in London.

Brief

Our client was looking for something special for the Adidas Classics Limited Edition zine. They wanted to introduce a sensory experience which revolved around the distinctive colours for each classic sports shoe.

Action

TCO came to us to draw on our wealth of expertise in scratch-and-sniff fragrance printing. We helped them to finetune their idea and develop three relevant fragrances for each zine to coincide with the Adidas special edition shoe colour theme.

Fragrances included: ‘New Shoes’, ‘Spray Paint’, ‘Liquorice’, ‘Lemon’ and ‘Banana’. We sourced a paper to match the existing print portfolio of Adidas zines, printed with special inks and applied the scent, then distributed to retail stores around the UK and Europe.

Title:              Adidas Zine
Size:               A3
Print:             Full colour plus 3 scratch-and-sniff scent panels
Materials:      110gsm uncoated
Finishing:      Folded to A7, packed individually in poly bags

Result

The retro designs of these zines and the 3 distinctive fragrances gave this marketing campaign a massive wow factor, and just what the client was looking for! We felt that their brave use of multiple aromas across the design was deserving of recognition.
