Our client, experiential agency The Persuaders, came to us to draw on our expertise in scented print. They wanted a scented card to coincide with the launch of season 3 of Netflix’s 1980’s-set sci-fi series Stranger Things, incorporating 6 scents to be experienced during the film.
From the brief given to us by The Persuaders team, we started with a range of different fragrance samples for them to consider. These were to coincide with 6 specific time frames during the film, and each scent was representative of an element of that particular scene.
Our client selected 6 relevant fragrances from the list, some of which we increased in strength and we then produced the scented cards to a very tight deadline, ready for the Stranger Things UK tour.
The 6 scents work really well on this card, providing a multi-sensory experience when used alongside the Stranger Things film. We think the bold creativity of this campaign is worthy of our Project of the Month award.
